Hair transplant finance allows you to divide the cost of treatment into monthly repayments instead of paying the complete price in one payment. You can apply to finance an agreed part of the cost after your treatment plan and written quotation have been confirmed.
Your price must be based on a proper assessment. During the consultation, we examine the pattern of hair loss, the area you want treated, donor density, hair characteristics and the number of grafts likely to be required.
Once this assessment is complete, you receive a personalised treatment plan and written price. You can then decide how much you want to pay upfront and how much you wish to include in a finance application.
Finance does not change the procedure recommended for you. The surgical plan is based on the condition of your donor area, the coverage required and the need to preserve enough donor hair for the future.
The finance provider makes the lending decision. The clinic can explain the treatment price and the amount being submitted, but it does not decide whether an application is approved.
The provider will confirm the repayment period, interest, fees, monthly payment and complete amount repayable. These terms should be reviewed carefully before you accept the agreement or book treatment.
Finance is subject to application, eligibility, affordability checks and approval. Applying does not guarantee that finance will be offered.
Finance gives you the option to spread the cost of a hair transplant across an agreed repayment period. This avoids having to pay the complete treatment price in one payment before surgery.
You do not have to apply to finance the full amount. Once your written price has been confirmed, you can pay part of the cost yourself and include the remaining balance in the application.
The main benefits are:
Finance should support an appropriate treatment plan rather than determine the size of the procedure. Your graft requirement, donor management and treatment area are decided after examining your hair loss and available donor supply.
A larger upfront payment leaves a smaller balance to finance and will usually reduce the monthly repayment. Paying less upfront leaves a larger balance to include in the application.
Before applying, consider what monthly payment is realistic throughout the complete repayment period. The provider will make its own decision after carrying out the required eligibility and affordability checks.
There is no standard monthly repayment for hair transplant finance. The amount depends on the confirmed treatment price, the amount paid upfront and the repayment term offered by the provider.
Interest and fees may apply. These affect both the monthly instalment and the complete amount you repay under the agreement.
The monthly figure is affected by:
A smaller monthly payment may be spread over a longer period. Depending on the finance terms, that can increase the complete amount you repay.
Before accepting an agreement, check the number of payments, the amount of each payment, the first payment date, any interest or fees and the total amount repayable.
Your treatment plan and written price must be confirmed before a finance application can be discussed properly.
The consultation allows us to assess your hair loss, donor area and likely graft requirement before explaining the treatment options available to you.
Book Your Free ConsultationThe examples below use the guide prices shown on our hair transplant cost page and assume that £1,000 is paid upfront. The remaining balance is then divided over either six or eleven months.
These calculations explain how the remaining balance could be divided. They are not finance quotations and do not include interest, fees or other credit charges. The provider will confirm your actual monthly payment and total amount repayable after assessing your application.
The guide price used for this example is £4,000. After paying £1,000 upfront, the illustrative financed balance would be £3,000.
Dividing £3,000 over six months gives approximately £500 per month. Dividing the same balance over eleven months gives approximately £272.73 per month.
Interest, fees or other credit charges would increase the actual amount repaid.

Hair transplant prices depend on the area being treated, the number of grafts required, donor density, hair characteristics, the procedure used and the complexity of the surgical plan.
Two people with a similar area of hair loss may not need the same number of grafts. Hair calibre, curl, existing density, previous surgery and donor strength all affect the plan.
Surgical prices start from £3,499. Your final cost is confirmed after assessment rather than being calculated from photographs or graft numbers alone.
Our hair transplant cost page explains the guide prices, expected graft ranges and what is included with treatment.
Finance is discussed after the procedure and price have been confirmed. Choosing finance does not change the treatment area, graft plan or procedure recommended for you.
The amount submitted for finance is calculated from the agreed treatment price after deducting any amount you choose to pay upfront.

Once the price has been confirmed, you can decide how much you want to pay upfront and how much you wish to include in the application.
The finance provider makes the lending decision. Approval is not automatic and remains subject to eligibility and affordability checks.
Check the monthly payment, number of repayments, interest, fees, first payment date and total amount repayable. Do not judge the agreement from the monthly figure alone.
Repayments are made directly to the finance provider under the terms of your credit agreement. The provider confirms the payment method, repayment dates and amount due during the application process.
Keep a copy of the agreement so you can check the payment schedule, outstanding term and total amount repayable.
The first payment date is set by the finance provider and shown in the agreement. Check this date before accepting the finance terms.
Questions about repayment dates, outstanding balances or changes to the credit agreement must be discussed with the finance provider. The clinic can explain your treatment price but does not control the lending or repayment arrangements.
Any option to settle the agreement early is governed by the credit terms. Contact the provider for an up-to-date settlement figure and details of any conditions that apply.
Clear communication matters before, during and after treatment. Patients receive preparation information before surgery, recovery guidance afterwards and follow-up support as their results develop.
